  1. i definitely believe that this blog played a big role in spreading this case to the masses, which directly affected the added pressure on the officials over there. you all should feel really proud of yourselves for standing up for someone and something when it really mattered.

  2. There is no doubt that this blog played a major part in raising the awareness of this situation.
Every little bit “really” does help!

Let’s not end it here people. Let’s continue to use this kind of call & response as a tool in getting our community problems solved.

    Peace.

  3. The George Bushes, Shaun Hannity and Rush Limbaugh’s have the nerve to say they don’t see racism exsisting in America. I lived in Houston, TX for three years (after moving from GA) and saw it throughout the state. I assure you’ll not hear or see the President, nor any of his rich republican friends, come to the aid of this young lady. But they’ll lie about how great America is to her people and how we have the best justice system in the free world. Of course we know that’s only true if you have their money for the best lawyers money can buy! This is a gross injustice done to this young lady and we all, as black americans, should voice our opinion to as many BLACK public officials as possible.

  4. Now for the civil suit Shaquanda! Get that $$$ for pain and suffering…and college tuition. : )

  5. In my 45 years of life living here in America there have been countless displays of racial injustice. If I am blessed to live another 45 years here in America as a descendant of slaves i’m sure they’ll be to many to mention. Unfortunately our people (African Americans) have never understood American history other than that of Slavery. Since the beginning this nation has always been controlled by gangs. These gangs evoled into political parties. Basically the point is. If African Americans aren’t willing to pick up their guns and fight for what they want just like every other nationality in this nation has, then there will always be injustice against us. Guess what? The Arabs (AKA , Al-Quida) will be the next race to surpass the African American on the social latter.

  6. I’m glad this little girl was set “FREE”! Yes she was wrong in pushing an adult period! She is not perfect and neither are we. She made a MISTAKE and so have we and I Pray she has learned from this terrible ordeal.
Everyone is to be Forgiven, everyone is to Confess, ask to be forgiven, and Repent! I Pray this little girl is taken to church and gets SAVED is she isn’t!
To a lot of folk out there….I’ve learned you should ALWAYS get the facts straight before placing blame or shame on others!
